We are excited to announce that Dr. Jennifer Auckland has joined our GVC family! Having worked with Dr. Auckland within our local veterinary community, we are familiar with the high standard with which she practices and look forward to seeing her relationships with our GVC families flourish.
Dr. Auckland is originally from Clarkston and graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree there as well. Following graduation, she was a staff veterinarian at a nonprofit guide dog school and then pursued a small animal rotating internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, to further expand her knowledge and skills. She then practiced emergency medicine for over six years at various specialty hospitals prior to joining the team at Goodison Veterinary Center. Her professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, ultrasound, neurology, and pain management. Dr. Auckland and her husband, Alan, have two Great Pyrenees rescues, George and Lacey, and a cat, Munch. In her spare time, she enjoys home improvement projects, exploring nature, gardening, and volunteering at Leader Dogs for the Blind. She looks forward to caring for and forming new relationships with the clients and pets of GVC!
