    Dr. Doug Angel
    A.K.A. Dr. Doug

    Dr. Doug Angel, DVM helped establish the Goodison Veterinary Center in 1996 with his wife and partner, Dr. Molly Angel, DVM, DAVDC, FAVD. Dr. Doug grew up in metro Detroit, attended the University of Detroit for his undergraduate degree, and attained his veterinary degree from Michigan State University. His goal continues to be to provide the community with outstanding veterinary care in a family-oriented environment. When Dr. Doug is not practicing veterinary medicine, you can find him riding his bike on the Paint Creek Trail or distance running, having completed the 50 States Challenge of marathon running and several Ironman triathlon events. Together, the Drs. Angel strive to provide the highest quality of care for all of their patients in a family-centric, friendly veterinary setting.

    Dr. Molly Angel
    A.K.A. Dr. Molly

    Dr. Molly Angel, DVM, DAVDC, FAVD established the Michigan Animal Dental Specialists practice in 2019. Dr. Molly grew up in Rochester, as a true hometown veterinarian, and developed the skillset and knowledge to earn the highest level in her chosen profession as a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist TM (of which there are fewer than 200 individuals worldwide with similar credentials). Utah State University and Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine provided Dr. Molly with an outstanding educational foundation. She then completed the arduous task of her dental specialty residency while establishing and growing the Goodison Veterinary Center into a thriving veterinary general practice. In her spare time, Dr. Molly labors on her farm raising Hampshire sheep and Boer goats, and is an avid cyclist and distance runner. Dr. Molly's dedication and passion for the field of veterinary dentistry have tremendously enhanced the quality of life for all of the patients.

    Dr. Jill Savage
    Team member since 2002

    Dr. Jill Savage is a 2001 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed an internship in internal medicine, surgery, and emergency and critical care at the Companion Animal Hospital of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Dr. Savage has earned Animal Hospice & Palliative Care certification from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and has a broad range of interests, including challenging medical cases. She lives with her husband, Sean, and their son, Noah. The rest of their family includes Finnegan, a yellow Labrador Retriever, Tilly the cat, a ball python named Obi, and two rescued parakeets named India and Olive. In her free time, Dr. Savage enjoys reading, baking, hiking, home-improvement projects, and travel. She especially loves nature and conservation.

    Dr. Kristin Beeson
    Team member since 2019

    Dr. Kristin Beeson graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology there as well. Go Green! She completed a small animal rotating internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC and after practicing in North Carolina for two years, she moved back home to Michigan to be closer to family and friends. Her veterinary interests include general surgery, dentistry, general medicine, and nutrition. She has two dogs (Maia and Bean) and a cat named Max. In her free time, she enjoys raising monarch butterflies and spending time with her husband, Mike, as well as family and friends.

    Dr. Sara Potocki
    Team member since 2020

    Dr. Sara Potocki graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology and assisted with research on Lyme disease at MSU following graduation. She earned her DVM degree from the University of Illinois in 2015 with a specialization in exotic mammal medicine, then returned to her home state of Michigan. Dr. Potocki has several areas of interest including parasitology, internal medicine, and exotic mammal medicine. She has a particular interest and additional training in diagnostic imaging, specifically in performing and interpreting ultrasounds. Dr. Potocki and her husband, John, live with their Golden Retriever, Jeden (pronounced Yed-in), and their rabbit, Rosie. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, bicycling, ice-skating, and hiking.

    Dr. Jennifer Auckland
    Team member since 2020

    Dr. Jennifer Auckland is originally from Clarkston and graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree there as well. Following graduation, she was a staff veterinarian at a nonprofit guide dog school and then pursued a small animal rotating internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, to further expand her knowledge and skills. She then practiced emergency medicine for over six years at various specialty hospitals prior to joining the team at Goodison Veterinary Center. Her professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, ultrasound, neurology, and pain management. Dr. Auckland and her husband, Alan, have two Great Pyrenees rescues, George and Lacey, and a cat, Munch. In her spare time, she enjoys home improvement projects, exploring nature, gardening, and volunteering at Leader Dogs for the Blind. She looks forward to caring for and forming new relationships with the clients and pets of GVC!

    Dr. Nadia Roehrig
    Team member since 2022

    Dr. Nadia Roehrig (Row-rig) is from Walled Lake, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and then subsequently graduated from their College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After graduating, she jumped right into both emergency medicine and general practice. Within the veterinary field, she has interest in internal medicine, behavior, and dentistry. Outside of work, she spends her days with her husband (Nate), her two cats (Bealzebub and Oni), and her two dogs (Rowdy and Moxxi). Apart from veterinary medicine, she enjoys reading, cooking, playing video games, and weightlifting. She is excited to be part of the Goodison Veterinary Center's team!
