Age 6-9 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 1st of 4 canine distemper combo (DHPP) vaccine
- Microscopic fecal analysis (1st of 2 unless additional checks required due to parasite infestation)
- Deworming; heartworm preventative; flea and tick preventative
Age 9-12 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 2nd of 4 canine distemper combo (DHPP) vaccine
- Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine (as needed)
- 1st of 2 influenza vaccine (as needed)
- Microscopic fecal analysis (2nd of 2 unless additional checks required due to parasite infestation)
- Deworming; heartworm preventative; flea and tick preventative
Age 12-15 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 3rd of 4 DHPP with leptospirosis (DHLPP) vaccine
- 2nd of 2 influenza vaccine (as needed)
- Microscopic fecal analysis (as needed)
- Deworming; heartworm preventative; flea and tick preventative
Age 16-18 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 4th of 4 DHPP with leptospirosis (DHLPP) vaccine
- 1-year rabies vaccine (be sure to take proof of rabies vaccination with you to get your dog licensed - this is legally required)
- Microscopic fecal analysis (as needed)
- Deworming; heartworm preventative; flea and tick preventative
Age 6 months
- Pre-anesthetic blood test
- Spay or neuter
- Microchip (if desired)
Monthly
- Heartworm preventative (year-round)
- Flea and tick preventative (seasonally or as needed)
Annually
- Complete physical examination and consult
- DHPP vaccine in 1 year, then once every 3 years
- Leptospirosis vaccine
- Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine (as needed)
- Influenza vaccine (as needed)
- Rabies vaccine in 1 year, then once every 3 years
- Heartworm blood test
- Microscopic fecal analysis
- Deworming (as needed)
