Age 6-9 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 1st of 4 feline distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine
- Microscopic fecal analysis (1st of 2 unless additional checks required due to parasite infestation)
- Deworming (as needed)
Age 9-12 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 2nd of 4 feline distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine
- Feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) blood test
- 1st of 2 feline leukemia vaccine (if indoor/outdoor cat)
- Microscopic fecal analysis (2nd of 2 unless additional checks required due to parasite infestation)
- Deworming (as needed)
Age 12-15 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 3rd of 4 feline distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine
- 2nd of 2 feline leukemia vaccine (if indoor/outdoor cat)
- Microscopic fecal analysis (as needed)
- Deworming (as needed)
Age 16-18 weeks
- Complete physical examination and consult
- 4th of 4 feline distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine
- 1-year rabies vaccine
- Microscopic fecal analysis (as needed)
- Deworming (as needed)
Age > 3 months and weight > 3 pounds
- Pre-anesthetic blood test
- Spay or neuter
- Declaw (if desired)
- Microchip
Monthly
- Internal/external parasite preventative (as needed)
Annually
- Complete physical examination and consult
- Feline distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine in 1 year, then once every 3 years
- Feline leukemia vaccine (if indoor/outdoor cat)
- Rabies vaccine in 1 year, then once every 3 years
- Microscopic fecal analysis
- Deworming (as needed)
