Dear Goodison Veterinary Center Families,
Since the onset of the pandemic, our team has been able to maintain the daily operation of our practice with the tremendous efforts of our team, and the wonderful patience and understanding of our outstanding client base. We have evolved and adapted safety measures pertaining to lobby entry and patient check out processes. These measures, we have found, have resulted in a marked reduction in stress and anxiety for a large number of our patients and their families. As a result, we will continue to have our families call the office upon entry to our parking lot at the time of their scheduled appointment. One of our team members will continue to direct you to the exam room that has been cleaned and prepared for your patient’s care. Upon completion of your visit, we will continue your check out process in the assigned exam room, thereby avoiding the stress of handling your companion at the front desk area.
We will also continue to perform curbside service for our technician appointments and any families that prefer this service.
The pandemic has resulted in a variety of stress-related issues. However, the adaptation to the above protocol has been a great benefit in reducing the “scary trip to the Vet.”
Thanks from the GVC Team!
