Dear Goodison Veterinary Center clients, families and friends,
Due to a series of unexpected health issues, I am required to take a break from clinical veterinary practice for the next few months.
My absence will not impact any of the outstanding veterinary care provided for your companion pets by our practice.
As most of you know, we have been able to assemble an amazing team of doctors. If you have not had an opportunity to work with this team, I strongly encourage you to meet them. They are highly dedicated, very caring, thorough professionals. They are all also smarter than me!
This was a very difficult personal and professional decision. I love my work, my team, and all the wonderful families with whom I have been fortunate to work. My goal is to rest and heal in order to return to the work I love.

Thank you for all of the kind responses and positive energy! They truly mean a lot and will hasten my recovery.
Also, tremendous appreciation for the trust and support of our outstanding team of doctors, veterinary nurses, and administrative and customer service representatives. They will carry on with excellence and compassion for your canine and feline companions during my brief absence.
Lastly, a short PSA. If you are feeling a little “off,” please have your doctor evaluate your carotid arteries. Although a rare health issue, it could be a life saver.
