Dr. Potocki graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology and assisted with research on Lyme disease at MSU following graduation. She earned her DVM degree from the University of Illinois in 2015 with a specialization in exotic mammal medicine, then returned to her home state of Michigan. Dr. Potocki has several areas of interest including parasitology, internal medicine, and exotic mammal medicine. She has a particular interest and additional training in diagnostic imaging, specifically in performing and interpreting ultrasounds. Dr. Potocki and her husband, John, live with their Golden Retriever, Jeden (pronounced Yed-in), and their two rabbits, Rosie and Blinkin. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, bicycling, ice-skating, and hiking.
